Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust (KMAT) has a vacancy for a Teacher of History on a 0.8fte basis from September 2026. The role will be located at Kenilworth School and Sixth Form.

Kenilworth School and Sixth Form's Ofsted report of November 2023 rates the school as Outstanding in all five areas, maintaining an Outstanding status from the Ofsted inspection of 2013. Kenilworth School moved into a newly built, bespoke school on Glasshouse Lane, Kenilworth in September 2023 and is the only secondary school in the community of Kenilworth being oversubscribed with engaged, motivated and well-behaved pupils.

The school is well resourced to support the delivery of the subject. All classrooms are equipped with a 75" touchscreen display. The post holder will join a supportive team with opportunities for professional development.

The successful applicant should be aspirational, creative, dynamic, innovative and have a genuine engaging enthusiasm for the teaching and learning of History. As a Teacher of History, you should be able to teach across all ability ranges from KS3 to KS4. The ability to teach KS5 would be advantageous, but not essential. We would welcome applications from ECTs or experienced teachers.
