Key Responsibilities:
- Installing software on our hardware (Xcalibr and other projects).
- Configuring and troubleshooting IP networks, VPNs, and communication systems.
- Working directly with customers (from soldiers to senior decision-makers) in training and support environments.
- Contributing to our internal IT, network infrastructure, and asset management.
We are looking for someone with:
- Excellent all-round IT and networking skills (DHCP, fixed IPs, remote access, VPNs, MDM).
- The ability to diagnose and solve network issues independently.
- Strong communication skills, confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, thorough, and detail-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of A-TAK (Android Team Awareness Kit).
- The ability to get security clearance and a UK driving licence.
It would be a bonus if they have:
- Experience with Python, JSON, SQL, or managing deployable networks (e.g., Unifi).
- Experience working in or with the defence sector.
- Hardware configuration or training delivery experience.

- Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
- Location: Hybrid (2-3 days a week in Bristol or Porton Down) with travel to customer sites.
