Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and mechanical processes, with the ability to operate and maintain various types of pressing machinery. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate pressing machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
Set up and adjust machinery for optimal performance, ensuring all parameters are met.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to prevent downtime.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
Handle materials safely and efficiently, following all health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of production output, machine settings, and maintenance activities.Skills

Proficient in fabrication techniques and production processes.
Experience operating coil fed presses or similar machines
Competence in materials handling and assembly operations.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, particularly in a manufacturing setting.

Days; Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-13:00
Standard 39 hours per week, £12.21 per hour basic + overtime paid at premium
