Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support, managing data entry tasks, and maintaining effective communication within the organisation. This position requires a blend of organisational skills and technical proficiency to facilitate daily operations efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to various departments as needed.
- Manage incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date and organised.
- Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Assist in the management of financial records using QuickBooks, including invoicing and expense tracking.
- Maintain an organised filing system for both electronic and paper documents.
- Coordinate office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Support scheduling and calendar management for meetings and appointments.
Skills
- Previous office experience is essential, with a strong background in administrative roles preferably within a manufacturing company.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed in data entry tasks.
- Demonstrated clerical experience that showcases your ability to handle various administrative duties effectively.
This is a temporary position covering maternity leave of up to 12 months.
