Our Educational client is seeking to recruit a Team Leader to join their team to support children with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour to live safe, valued and meaningful lives.

Salary: £35,630.40 per annum (based on 40 hours)

  • Permanent vacancy
  • 40-hour post
  • 20-hour post

The Role: As a Team Leader, you will:

  • Provide therapeutic, child-centred care in a residential setting
  • Lead and support staff on shift, ensuring high standards of care
  • Work directly with children to support emotional wellbeing, behaviour management and daily living skills
  • Contribute to care planning, safeguarding, recording and regulatory compliance
  • Work on a rota including evenings, weekends and unsocial hours

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work or related field OR Level 5 Care qualification
  • Registered or willing to register with NISCC / NMC
  • Minimum 1 years experience working with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour
  • Ability to work flexibly on a rota (including sleepovers)
  • Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills
