Working for a leading perforating manufacturer committed to delivering precision-engineered components and assemblies that meet the highest standards of safety and performance. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that every part and assembly meets stringent aerospace 9100 / 9001 standards. You’ll work with advanced inspection tools, collaborate with engineering teams, and help maintain compliance with AS9100 and other industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect aerospace components and assemblies using precision measuring instruments.
- Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional inspections.
- Record and report inspection results accurately in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Identify non-conformances and assist in corrective actions.
- Maintain calibration and inspection equipment records.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Fully engaged with the shop floor helping and training operators at all levels.
- Preparing Fairs / PPAP submissions.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 2+ years in quality inspection within aerospace or precision engineering.
Knowledge: Familiarity with AS9100 standards and GD&T principles.
Skills:
- Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMM equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or equivalent.
- IPC-A-610 or similar aerospace quality certifications.
- Internal Audit Qualification.
