Company Overview: Due to continued growth and expansion, our prestigious client is currently looking to recruit a 7.5t driver, to join their growing team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a local team, supporting with their transport activities across the area.
Role Overview: Operate 7.5t vehicles to clean pedestrianised areas and roads. Report all service, safety and environmental concerns.
Responsibilities:
- Know your vehicle
- Collect waste from the barrow beat
- Vehicle is legally compliant
- Check systems, vehicles, equipment, tools and machinery before use - report defects
- Correct vehicle position
- Vehicle is maintained clean
Job Requirements:
- Driving a large/LGV vehicles (7.5T upwards) desirable
- Flexible to work weekends
- Waste industry desirable
- A full UK driving licence with category N/C1 licence or equivalent
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
