Due to continued growth and expansion, our prestigious client is currently looking to recruit a 7.5t driver, to join their growing team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a local team, supporting with their transport activities across the area.
Role Overview
- Operate 7.5t vehicles to clean pedestrianised areas and roads.
- Report all service, safety and environmental concerns.
Responsibilities
- Know your vehicle.
- Collect waste from the barrow beat.
- Vehicle is legally compliant.
- Check systems, vehicles, equipment, tools and machinery before use – report defects.
- Correct vehicle position.
- Vehicle is maintained clean.
Job Requirements
- Driving a large/LGV vehicles (7.5T upwards) desirable.
- Flexible to work weekends.
- Waste industry desirable.
- A full UK driving licence with category N/C1 licence or equivalent.
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
