Overview: Our client specialises in precision steel fabrication and engineering for a diverse range of sectors. They design and manufacture robust steel components both workshop with potential on-site work if you want to. We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our steel fabrication team. The successful candidate will work on a wide range of steel projects. This role requires strong welding skills and good attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out MIG welding/fabricating on various steel components to a high standard.
- Fabricate and assemble products.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Prepare materials for welding.
- Inspect welds and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in MIG welding.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques and fabrication processes.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car due to the rural location.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
