About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing Northern Ireland-based company with a strong reputation in the renewable energy sector. Due to continued growth and increasing demand for solar installations, they are seeking a qualified Electrician to join their expanding team. This role involves working across Northern Ireland on both solar installations. While solar experience is desirable, it is not essential; training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and commission solar PV systems across domestic and commercial properties
- Carry out inspection, testing, and certification of electrical installations
- Ensure all work complies with 18th Edition wiring regulations
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
- Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship at all times
- Work independently and as part of a team to deliver projects on time
Essential Criteria
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Inspection & Testing qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
Desirable
- Previous experience in solar PV installations (not essential)
