Freight Quality & Scanning Operative for a reputable freight and logistics company based in Lichfield.
This is a hands-on role focused on freight quality, pallet scanning and operational accuracy across the hub.
Responsibilities:
- Scan inbound and outbound freight, using handheld technology
- Carry out quality and damage checks
- Photograph and record any freight issues identified
- Complete freight audit and compliance records
- Support hub operations through accurate data capture and attention to detail
- Help maintain high service and quality standards across the network
What we're looking for:
- Strong attention to detail
- Warehouse, logistics or freight experience beneficial
- Comfortable using scanners and technology
- Reliable and able to work in a fast-moving operation
- Positive team player with a quality-first mindset
- Confident communicating clearly and professionally with drivers and operational teams
