The company:
Our client, founded in 1982, is family-run independent insurance broker who is looking for a candidate with proven experience within the insurance broker industry to join their team in the heart of Tamworth.
About the role:
The successful applicant will work closely with the company\’s director and will be responsible for interacting with both customers and insurance companies.
* Manage own diary and emails
* First point of contact for claims
* Notify insurers of claims
* Chase own insurers for updates
* Chase third party insurers for recovery
* Work closely with the director for present position on claims
* Covering all aspects of insurance, travel claims, property, liability, motor etc.
Essential requirements:
* Must have a minimum of 3-4 years’ claims experience within an insurance brokerage
* Additional experience within accounts management would be beneficial
* Knowledge of personal and commercial insurance
* Working knowledge of Open GI would be desirable but not essential
