About the Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive service works on Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC equipment, and associated control panels. This is a client-facing role where building and maintaining strong customer relationships is key.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct PPM works on BMS systems and associated field equipment.
- Diagnose and repair BMS/control issues efficiently and effectively.
- Produce detailed service reports and identify any necessary remedial work.
- Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements before starting work.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Modify and interrogate BMS software to improve system performance.
- Support ongoing energy-saving initiatives across client systems.
Criteria
- ONC/BTEC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of HVAC control systems, ideally with hands-on BMS experience.
- Field service experience in maintenance or a related technical discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical control panel schematics.
- Competent in MS Word and Excel.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
