Job Description:

Kenect Recruitment are currently recruiting for a professional and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver with a Moffett licence on behalf of a busy builders merchant based in Hatfield.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-standing client known for excellent standards, reliable schedules, and a supportive working environment. You’ll be responsible for delivering building materials to residential and commercial properties while using a rear-mounted Moffett forklift for offloading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out multi-drop deliveries of building materials to trade and domestic customers

  • Operate a rear-mounted Moffett forklift to safely load/unload goods at delivery sites

  • Complete daily vehicle checks, delivery paperwork, and maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness

  • Deliver excellent customer service to site contacts and clients

  • Comply with all transport and health & safety regulations

  • Represent the business professionally at all times

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (Category C)

  • Valid Moffett Licence (or recent, verifiable experience using a Moffett)

  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

  • Good knowledge of local routes and UK road laws

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Builders merchant experience is highly desirable
