Management Accountant

We're working with an ambitious and fast-growing investment business seeking a Management Accountant to join its expanding finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accountant looking to move beyond transactional finance and develop broader experience across management reporting, forecasting, financial analysis and business partnering. You'll work closely with senior finance professionals and gain exposure to a dynamic, fast-paced business operating internationally.

The Opportunity

This is far more than a traditional accounts role.

You'll be involved in the day-to-day running of the finance function while supporting management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls. It's an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to build strong commercial finance skills while developing within a growing and evolving organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Preparing reconciliations across key balance sheet and bank accounts.
• Posting journals, accruals, prepayments and other accounting adjustments.
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Supporting month-end close activities and financial reporting deadlines.
• Assisting with external audit requirements and financial statement preparation.
• Supporting payroll, cash flow reporting and ad-hoc finance projects.
• Helping improve reporting, controls, data quality and finance processes.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within accounting, finance or audit.
• Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and core accounting principles.
• Experience with reconciliations, journals and month-end processes.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence using finance systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Analytical mindset and a natural curiosity to investigate and solve problems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.
• Someone who is motivated, dependable and keen to develop their career.
