Ready to step into the world of Family Office?
We're working with a newly established Jersey Family Office seeking an ambitious Administrator to join its growing team.
This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional administration and gain broad, hands-on exposure to the private wealth affairs of an extended family with business interests across the Middle East and Europe. Their private wealth investment entities are primarily based in Jersey.
You’ll work closely with experienced Family Office Directors across everything from payments and investments to company secretarial work, KYC, financial analysis and governance.
The Opportunity
Rather than managing a large portfolio of unrelated clients, you’ll be working within a dedicated Family Office environment, developing your understanding of the family's structures while supporting a wide range of financial and administrative activity.
It’s also a role that can develop around the person. The responsibilities are expected to evolve as your skills and expertise grow, with ongoing learning and collaboration built into the position.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Reviewing cash positions and undertaking spreadsheet analysis to support funding and payments.
- Maintaining loan schedules and monitoring interest, loan periods and security terms.
- Maintaining KYC files and supporting annual reviews.
- Responding to audit and KYC information requests.
- Maintaining FATCA/CRS and other financial records.
- Compiling Board packs and supporting company secretarial requirements.
- Taking minutes and maintaining accurate corporate records.
- Helping maintain the Family Office's document management and electronic filing systems.
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of three years’ Jersey financial services experience, ideally within a Corporate or regulated Trust business.
- A basic understanding of the offshore environment and compliance requirements.
- Good Excel and wider Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong organisation and time-management abilities.
- Good written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Navision, SharePoint or similar document management systems would be advantageous.
- Most importantly, someone who is curious, adaptable and willing to embrace new systems and the opportunities presented by AI.
(Regret, candidates must hold Entitled or Entitled to work status in Jersey, C.I.)
Why This Role Stands Out
- Gain direct experience within a dedicated Family Office environment.
- Enjoy genuine variety across finance, investments, governance, compliance and company secretarial work.
- Build experience supporting private wealth investment structures based primarily in Jersey.
- Join a role designed to evolve as your knowledge and expertise develop.
- No formal qualification is required.
- Learn collaboratively on the job, with potential opportunities for formal qualifications depending on individual development and business requirements.
The Culture
They’re specifically looking for someone who is open to learning, adaptable and interested, rather than someone who arrives knowing absolutely everything. The role is intended to evolve with the successful candidate up to Manager level, with ongoing collaboration forming an important part of their development.
For someone with a couple of years’ Trust, Private Wealth or Family Office experience who’s keen to broaden their exposure, this could be a really exciting career move.
