An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Waiter / Front of House Manager to join a small, sophisticated restaurant forming part of a highly regarded group of upmarket restaurants.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with guests, delivering polished service and supporting the smooth running of the front-of-house operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, professional and attentive guest service
- Assist with daily front-of-house operations
- Lead by example and support junior service staff
- Maintain exceptional service standards
- Assist with table allocations, reservations and guest requests
- Maintain strong menu, food, wine and beverage knowledge
- Liaise with the kitchen and management team
- Handle guest feedback professionally
- Assist with opening, closing, cash-ups and operational duties
- Help create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere
Requirements
- Previous experience in a high-quality restaurant, boutique hotel or similar environment
- Strong à la carte service experience
- Supervisory or front-of-house management experience advantageous
- Excellent food, wine and beverage knowledge
- Confident, polished and guest-focused
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm and organised during busy services
- Hands-on team player
- Professional presentation and genuine passion for hospitality
