As a Business Analyst and Supply Chain Intern, you will support two critical functions within the business, Supply & Demand Planning and Business Analysis. This role provides a unique opportunity to develop your analytical skills and gain hands-on experience with the data side of a commercial business.
In the Supply & Demand Planning function, you will help analyse historical sales data, market trends, and business inputs to support demand forecasting and inventory management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to improve forecast accuracy and ensure optimal stock levels.
With the Business Analysis function, you will assist in updating and circulating weekly performance reports, using data to generate insights that support presentations and strategic planning. You will collaborate with teams across the business to help streamline processes, improve access to data, and drive consistency in reporting.
This internship is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive individual eager to build real-world experience in data analysis, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Analysis & Forecasting Support
- Assist in analysing historical sales data, trends, and seasonality
- Help maintain and update demand forecasting in Excel and Anaplan
- Support the preparation of data for the monthly S&OP meetings
- Use data to generate actionable insights
- Reporting & Insights
- Run and maintain weekly performance reporting
- Support with Supply & Demand reporting
- Assist in updating relevant dashboards
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to gather demand inputs
- Support functional teams in improving data flows and setting up new processes
- Attend Demand review meetings and document key takeaways and decisions
REQUIREMENTS
- Interest in retail or consumer goods industries; beauty experience a plus.
- Strong Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
- Analytical mindset; comfortable working with large datasets.
- Comfortable working with numbers; strong numerical and mathematical skills.
- Quick to learn and adapt to new systems and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative and confident working across teams (Commercial, Marketing, Retail).
