Position Summary

As a true ambassador for Fenty Beauty by Rihanna in Selfridges, the Assistant Manager will assist the Counter Manager in managing the counter in Selfridges. This role is responsible for managing Fenty Beauty Retail Artists, ensuring the team represents the brand according to guidelines, assisting in staffing and coverage planning within budget, driving sales goals, managing testers and samples, executing in-store and out-of-store events, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The position reports to the Counter Manager to educate, coach, and develop team skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage, inspire, and motivate a team of full/part-time Makeup Artists, including staffing, coaching, and setting individual sales goals.
• Lead the team in product knowledge and customer service to create a flawless experience and build a loyal clientele.
• Manage sales goals and payroll to meet financial targets.
• Develop and implement a clientele program to support sales and loyalty.
• Create in-store activations aligned with the brand calendar for product launches and key periods.
• Strategically develop the brand presence within the store.
• Build strong relationships with Selfridges management and within Kendo to drive results and share best practices.
• Plan ongoing training to enhance sales, artistry, and customer service skills.
• Manage the tester and samples budget, ensuring timely orders.
• Represent the brand professionally, following all guidelines, with enthusiasm and flexibility.
• Build positive relationships with team and store partners.
• Maintain high personal grooming standards.

Profile

Qualifications include experience in a luxury retail environment, high-level makeup artistry, at least 2 years of retail management experience, strategic and business acumen, clientele strategy experience, leadership skills, financial goal achievement, excellent customer service, organizational skills, commercial awareness, and passion for the beauty industry. The candidate should be confident, professional, adaptable, energetic, results-driven, and knowledgeable about Rihanna.
