About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Manager with a proven ability to grow brand presence and engage communities. In this exciting role, you will take full ownership of our UK organic social media channels, driving brand growth and engagement from start to finish. You will create and execute a content strategy that is both innovative and customer-focused, using social insights to ensure everything you do aligns with our business goals. With your keen eye on social trends, you’ll craft content that stands out, resonates with our audience, and keeps our brands fresh and relevant. As the in-house expert, you’ll be constantly bringing new ideas to the table and helping elevate our brands in an ever-evolving social media landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Own the planning and execution of U.K. brands’ social content calendars, aligning with insights, trends, and business objectives to drive performance.
- Ideate and create engaging content, ensuring brand consistency across channels; collaborate with the marketing and design teams.
- Lead the creation and delivery of social videos and graphics, using video editing and graphic design tools, while managing external content creators when needed.
- Monitor social media KPIs, report on performance, and adapt content strategies based on insights.
- Stay on top of social trends, competitor insights, and new platform features, testing new formats to differentiate from competitors.
- Oversee brand reputation on social media, managing community interactions and collaborating with customer care to address product-related feedback.
- Build and nurture an engaged online community, working with influencers, creators, and ambassadors to increase brand visibility.
- Lead the social media executive and video content creator, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with the wider team via platforms like Asana and Slack to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of social and marketing experience in fast-growing consumer goods brands with proven success.
- Experience growing social channels from 0 to 100k+ followers on Instagram and TikTok.
- Previous experience in team leadership.
- Expertise in key social platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube.
- Creative with a strong ability to capture and create content using tools like Canva, CapCut, and in-app editors.
- Innovative storyteller, able to create engaging content within brand guidelines.
- Experience using analytics and scheduling tools like Hootsuite and Google Analytics.
- Excellent written skills with attention to detail.
Pay range and compensation package:
