Associate Chartered Building Surveyor Location: Join our growing and busy Teddington office as an Associate Chartered Building Surveyor as we expand our team. As an Associate Chartered Building Surveyor at KK, you’ll have the chance to lead a team and showcase your expertise while working on diverse projects that challenge and inspire. Work closely with our respected clients and experience the excitement of working alongside fellow industry experts, where every project presents new challenges and opportunities for growth. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions and drive successful project outcomes. Lead and co-ordinate project teams in the successful delivery of construction schemes as part of our 1Team ethos Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the organisation. Develop new workstreams and client opportunities through both innovation as well as repeat business arising from effective project delivery. Pre-contract advice on construction, contract or cost aspects of building surveying work including feasibilities. Conduct detailed inspections and assessments of existing buildings, identifying defects, preparing detailed reports and providing expert advice on maintenance, repair, and refurbishment strategies. Lead building surveying projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements. Contract administration, valuation and certification including chairing meetings with associated document preparation. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients – offering strategic guidance on properties, dilapidations, party wall matters and other building-related issues. Manage project timelines, budgets and resources effectively. Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors and regulatory authorities. Manage and develop a small team of existing Building Surveyors to deliver new and existing work programmes. Extensive experience in Building Surveying within the construction industry. Experience required the delivery of a wide range of project based work. Experience in client facing roles ideally with private consultancy background. Aptitude for establishing, building and maintaining professional relationships with clients and colleagues. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines. Valid UK driving licence. Strong work ethic with appetite for agile working in and around the South East and central London.
