Are you an experienced, reliable cook who is passionate about providing high quality and nutritious meals? Then we are looking for you. We are looking for a Cook to help with the preparation of meals, snacks etc. Kendale Hall is a residential home, where care and support is provided to adults. Weekly hours are negotiable and will be discussed at interview stage. You will also be required to cover holidays, sickness as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and produce varied, nutritious meals, offering choice for residents
  • Demonstrate awareness of individual needs and specific dietary requirements
  • Manage the storage and disposal process
  • Maintain a cooking and cleaning regime
  • Complete relevant paperwork in line with home and legislative requirements
  • Attend training courses and be available to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays

Qualifications

  • Applicants should possess a relevant catering qualification or have previous experience within a similar role, along with a valid certificate in Food Safety & Hygiene.
  • On-going support and supervision will be provided.

This post is for 24 hours over 3 days, with weekend work required. Actual working pattern will be discussed at interview. This post is subject to satisfactory references and a PVG check.
