Hybrid working between home and the Kendal Town Council office LA9 4ED.

Part-time, 30 hours per week. Β£15.82 to Β£17.79 per hour, with pay award pending which will be back dated to 1st April, plus local government pension scheme.

We are looking for a proactive and practical Estates and Grounds Officer to help deliver high-quality services for the estates and grounds maintenance team across Kendal. If you are looking for a rewarding role where you can make a visible difference to Kendal's public spaces and community assets, this is an excellent opportunity to join our small and friendly Kendal Town Council team in a varied and valuable position.

Role Overview: This is a varied, hands-on role combining team supervision, health and safety oversight, responsibility for horticulture in and around the town and its estate and grounds, asset maintenance and contractor co-ordination. The role is 30 hours per week and is offered on SCP 1724. Reporting to the Council Services Manager, you will lead day-to-day estates and grounds activity, supervise the Estates and Grounds Assistant, and help ensure the effective delivery of services.
