Kendal-Crosslands Communities is seeking an experienced Plumber to join team.

This role is responsible for maintaining plumbing, drainage, supply, and related heating systems across our residential retirement community campus.

The Plumber will assemble, install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, plumbing fixtures, commercial kitchen and laundry equipment connections, water distribution systems, and wastewater treatment-related plumbing systems.

The ideal candidate brings strong residential and commercial plumbing experience, sound knowledge of plumbing codes, a commitment to safety, and the ability to provide reliable service in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of ten years of comprehensive work experience in the plumbing trade.
  • Knowledge of the National Plumbing Code and experience with residential and commercial plumbing applications.
  • Working knowledge of domestic hot water distribution systems, including mixing valves and pumps.
  • Familiarity with related trades such as electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general maintenance.
  • Ability to operate power tools and maintain personal hand tools required for the role.
  • Valid driver’s license in state of residence and ability to be insured by Kendal-Crosslands Communities insurance.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, instructions, and procedures as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safe work practices.

Physical Requirements and working conditions: This position requires the ability to climb, walk long distances, lift, push, pull, and carry weights from 60 pounds up to and in excess of 125 pounds, with no more than minor correctable deficiency in sight and hearing.

Work may involve exposure to mechanical equipment, ladders, high elevations, confined spaces, dust, fumes, job-related materials, drainage systems, waste products, and extreme outside temperatures.
