An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our PIM team. As a PIM Data Technician, you will collaborate with colleagues and will play a vital role in capturing, uploading, and maintaining product data from various sources.

Additionally, you will be responsible for analysing and enhancing product descriptions and data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

What your day-to-day activities will look like:

• Pricing Updates: Manage and update pricing, including break pricing adjustments.
• Contract Pricing: Handle contract pricing to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Creation of Bulk Parts: Generate bulk parts from pricelists to streamline product management.
• Product Creation: Develop new products from \’Dummies\’ to expand our catalogue.
• Supplier Portals/Datasheets: Utilize supplier portals and datasheets to improve product descriptions and images.
• Adding Alternates/Related Products: Use supplier documentation or recommendations from the technical department to add alternate and related products.
• Attribute Verification: Check current product attributes for accuracy and highlight any discrepancies to relevant category managers and/or supply partners.

Skills Required:

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to work to deadlines.
• CSV File Knowledge: Proficiency in using CSV files for data management.
• Microsoft Office: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Effective Communication: Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and other departments.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
