A well-established and growing accountancy practice based in West Sussex is seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join its expanding team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the firm's tax compliance function, overseeing a varied portfolio of clients, and supporting the development of junior team members.

The Role
- Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
- Preparing and reviewing Self-Assessment Tax Returns
- Preparing and reviewing Corporation Tax Returns
- Completing P11Ds and employment-related tax filings
- Monitoring tax compliance deadlines and ensuring timely submissions
- Responding to client queries and providing a high level of client service
- Conducting tax research and resolving technical tax matters
- Reviewing work completed by junior staff members
- Supervising, mentoring, and supporting the development of trainees and junior team members
- Assisting with the improvement and development of internal processes and procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of personal and corporate tax compliance
- ACA, ACCA, ATT or CTA qualification, or be qualified by experience
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines and client expectations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive and professional approach to client service
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
