M & E Estimator to join their growing team. An independent company, the business has grown into one of the leading providers of Mechanical and Electrical services across Devon & Cornwall.

The Role

As an M & E Estimator, you will

  • Work alongside the Regional Estimating Manager, undertaking full estimating duties
  • Produce accurate quotations from technical drawings and specifications.
  • Support bid preparation, cost analysis, and review of M & E designs.
  • Liaise with site teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to gather pricing and ensure feasibility.
  • Help to develop estimating tools, maintain databases, and improve cost-estimating methodology.
  • Who We’re Looking For

Ideally, you will have

  • A technical understanding of electrical and mechanical systems (HVAC, lighting, power distribution etc).
  • Previous experience in an Estimating role ideally within a building services or building contractor environment
  • Good numeracy, attention to detail, and strong IT skills.
  • A proactive approach and strong communication skills.
  • A team player who is keen to be a key part of business and develop their career
