Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Estimator to join a busy and growing drainage business in Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience preparing quotes / estimates for drainage and plumbing works. The role will focus on producing accurate and competitive estimates for a range of drainage and plumbing repair and remedial works, supporting operational and commercial teams across the business.

The Role

  • Prepare day-to-day quotes for drainage and plumbing repairs and remedial works
  • Produce accurate and cost-effective estimates covering labour, materials, and equipment
  • Review CCTV survey information and prepare remedial costings
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain technical information and pricing
  • Assess project specifications and determine scope of works
  • Update estimates where project requirements change
  • Use estimating software and internal systems to prepare competitive proposals
  • Support the wider commercial and operational team within a fast-paced drainage environment

About You

  • Experience preparing estimates or quotations for drainage or plumbing remedial works
  • Strong understanding of obtaining supplier and subcontractor pricing
  • Highly organised with strong administration and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
  • Comfortable managing multiple quotations and deadlines simultaneously
