My client is a well-established Powered Access Hire company supplying a wide range of access equipment to customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Telesales Executive to join their commercial team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident sales professional who enjoys speaking with customers, developing new business and working towards clear targets. You will play an important role in generating new enquiries, developing customer accounts and helping businesses find the right powered access solution for their requirements.

The Role

  • Proactively contact new and existing customers to introduce the company's powered access hire services and generate new opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with businesses across a range of industries, identifying upcoming projects and equipment requirements.
  • Handle inbound enquiries, understand customer requirements and recommend suitable access equipment and hire solutions.
  • Re-engage previous customers and follow up on enquiries to maximise repeat business and conversion opportunities.
  • Maintain a consistent programme of outbound sales activity, including telephone prospecting and lead generation.
  • Record customer information, enquiries, quotations and sales activity accurately using the company's CRM system.
  • Work alongside the wider sales and operations teams to ensure customers receive a professional and efficient service.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in telesales, internal sales, business development or a similar customer-facing sales position.
  • Confident telephone manner with the ability to engage decision-makers and build strong commercial relationships.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven, with a genuine desire to win new business.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and other standard computer applications.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple leads and customer conversations effectively.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as contribute to a busy sales team.

Desirable

  • Experience within the powered access, plant hire, construction equipment or related sectors is desirable.
  • Knowledge of access platforms, MEWPs or other construction equipment is desirable.
  • Previous experience selling equipment hire or services to businesses.
