Job Role: Customer Hire Desk Administrator
Rota: Monday – Friday – 7:30am to 4:30pm
Salary: £29,000
My client is a large Plant Hire company with depots across the UK. Due to their continued success, they are now looking for a skilled Customer Hire Desk Administrator to join their ever-growing team in Northampton.
The Role of Customer Hire Desk Administrator in Brief:
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently on the company ERP system.
- Handling a high volume of tickets through cloud-based software, ensuring queries and requests are dealt with promptly.
- Processing off-hires and ensuring all relevant systems and records are updated correctly.
- Processing additional charges at the end of the hire period, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Liaising with the depot network to confirm delivery and collection ETAs.
- Producing reports as and when required by the business.
- Taking ownership of workload and prioritising tasks effectively while working as part of a wider team.
- Maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring all administration is completed accurately and within required timescales.
The Ideal Candidate for the Customer Hire Desk Administrator:
- Previous experience within the Plant Hire, Powered Access, Tool Hire or Material Handling industries.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages and strong general computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Confident using computerised systems, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
