Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with overtime available and some on-call work
We are looking for a skilled Mobile Agricultural Engineer to join a supportive and professional team. This role is predominantly mobile, so each day brings new challenges, while still having the support of a central base in Ashford.
Role Overview
- Travel to customer sites to carry out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a wide range of agricultural machinery.
- Work with diesel engines, transmissions, electrics, and hydraulic systems.
- Apply skills transferable from related industries in a dynamic agricultural environment.
- Be part of a supportive team with ongoing technical training and development.
Ideal Candidate
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Have experience working with agricultural machinery (or similar plant/industrial machinery).
- Possess strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrics, and hydraulics.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ideally hold a qualification in land-based engineering (not essential).
- Are flexible to work occasional on-call shifts.
