Job Vacancy: Web Shop Administrator Location: Maldon, Essex Hours: 40 hours per week (8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday) Role Overview The Web Shop Administrator will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our online retail platform. You will ensure product listings are accurate, engaging, and up-to-date, while supporting the smooth running of our web shop. The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication with suppliers, colleagues, and customers. Key Responsibilities: Create, update, and maintain product listings, ensuring descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate and appealing. Use AI and creative tools to generate compelling product descriptions and marketing content. Monitor stock levels and product availability, liaising with suppliers and internal teams as required. Process web shop orders and coordinate with warehouse/dispatch teams to ensure timely fulfilment. Provide first-line support to colleagues and customers for web shop-related queries. Analyse and report on website performance, highlighting opportunities for improvement. Ensure all online content adheres to company guidelines and deadlines. Assist with promotional campaigns, seasonal updates, and special offers. Carry out general administrative duties to support the Web Shop and Retail team. Essential Skills & Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms (desirable). Accuracy with numbers and data entry.
