Salary: Up to £52.8k Basic + Overtime

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine servicing, inspections and repairs across the HGV fleet
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime
- Ensure all vehicles are maintained in line with DVSA safety and compliance standards
- Assist with MOT preparation and compliance checks
- Complete accurate maintenance, service and repair records
- Identify potential issues and recommend appropriate repairs
- Maintain a high standard of health and safety at all times
- Work as part of a professional and supportive workshop team
About You:
The successful HGV Technician will ideally have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or an equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- A proactive approach to preventative maintenance
- A strong understanding of vehicle safety and compliance
- A full UK driving licence
- HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence would be advantageous
