This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday position, with paid door-to-door travel and a company van provided. About your new Regional Powered Access Engineering role: Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on powered access and associated equipment. Attending customer sites to diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns. Carrying out inspections and repairs to ensure equipment is safe, reliable and fit for purpose. Completing PDI inspection work. Carrying out LOLER inspections where required. Diagnosing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults. Providing excellent customer service while representing the company on customer sites. Travelling across the regional patch, primarily covering Yorkshire, with occasional travel towards Newcastle, Peterborough and Manchester. Completing all relevant service reports and paperwork accurately.What you’ll need to succeed for this Regional Powered Access Engineer role: Previous experience as a CAP Engineer Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. Experience servicing and repairing powered access equipment. IPAF and CAP qualifications/licences are essential. NVQ qualification or equivalent is desirable. Full UK driving licence. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage your own workload. A professional, approachable attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team. Flexibility to travel across the regional patch when required.Regional Coverage: The role will primarily cover Yorkshire, with the territory extending: Yorkshire Up to Newcastle when required Down towards Peterborough on occasion Across towards Manchester when requiredThe majority of the work will be within the Yorkshire region, with longer-distance travel being less frequent.
