Location: Reading

Salary: £22.87 per hour

Hours: 2pm‑10pm, Monday‑Friday (37.5 hours per week)

About the company

The client is one of the UK’s largest dealership groups that owns franchises of all the prestigious brands; they are looking for an experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join their team at their state of the art depot.

About the role

As a Vehicle Mechanic you will be based in a busy workshop environment and will be required to undertake all levels of maintenance, repairs and major overhauls as well as completing standard servicing and diagnostics. You must be capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completion.

Qualifications and attributes

  • Apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
  • Experience working as a Vehicle Mechanic in a fleet or dealership environment.
