Job Title: Valeter – Agricultural Machinery Location: Luton Hours: 39 hours per week (Monday – Friday) Salary: £22,000 – £26,000 The Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established agricultural machinery business, who are looking for a Valeter to join their busy depot in the Luton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with valeting or detailing experience who enjoys working with large agricultural machinery and wants to be part of a supportive, hands-on team. What You’ll Be Doing Carrying out internal and external valeting/detailing of new and used agricultural machinery, including tractors, telehandlers, and combines. Preparing machinery for repair, hire, resale, demonstration, or export. Ensuring all stock machinery on display is kept clean and professionally presented. Assisting with unloading deliveries of machinery and goods, checking for damage/accuracy, and signing delivery notes. Helping with general yard duties and ensuring the wash and display areas are kept clean and tidy. Supporting other departments as required, including preparation for shows and events. Adapting to occasional work outside standard hours, particularly during busy seasonal periods.What We’re Looking For Previous valeting/detailing experience (experience with large vehicles or machinery an advantage). Ability to work independently and use initiative, as well as being a strong team player. High attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Flexibility to support the wider team as needed. A full UK driving licence is essential.What’s on Offer Salary: £22,000- £26,000 per annum, (overtime available during peak seasons). 24 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
