Position:               Service Controller Location:              Stockport Salary:                   £40K Hours:                  M-F 7am-5pm or 8am-6pm + 1 in 2 Sat am’s   Benefits:               Simplyhealth plan, increased holiday allowance  Service Controller opportunity My client, a multi-site commercial vehicle fleet maintenance company in the North West is looking to recruit an experienced Service Controller at their Stockport site. The workshop you will be based in is a recently built state of the art  workshop with an adjoining ATF Lane This customer service role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing service schedules and workshop flow. The Service Controller will be responsible for    Raise job cards, estimates, and invoices accurately and promptly Update job statuses on the system in real time Plan and allocate jobs to meet customer deadlines Maintain and manage service schedules for all customers Monitor job timings and ensure parts availability Communicate service updates, authorisations, and completions to customers Coordinate with workshop staff to ensure smooth job progression Process purchase orders with precision Ensure parts are ordered and available when needed Maintain depot cleanliness and security Ensure equipment is properly maintained Promote and uphold Health & Safety standards across the siteExperience required for the Service Controller opportunity   Must have previous Service Controller experience gained within an HGV Workshop MOT lane knowledge would be beneficial Hold a Full UK driving licenceTo apply for this Service Controller role with one of the region’s leading commercial vehicle maintainers reply to this advert with an up-to-date copy of your CV INDPB
