Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 DOE
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays
We are recruiting for a Stores & Parts Coordinator to join a successful plant hire business with 3 depots and over 2,500 pieces of equipment. Working closely with engineers, technicians, customers and suppliers, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the correct parts are available when required and that the stores operation runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing goods in, stock control and inventory checks
- Picking, packing and dispatching parts
- Ordering parts through manufacturers and suppliers
- Supporting engineers and technicians with parts requirements
- Handling parts enquiries by phone and face to face
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and records
- Keeping the stores clean, organised and safe
About You
- Previous experience in a stores or parts role within the plant hire sector
- Mechanically minded with an interest in machinery
- Able to identify parts and work effectively under pressure
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and attention to detail
- Basic IT skills
