My client, a reputable Plant company, is seeking a qualified and experienced Plant Fitter to join their dynamic team. This role involves working on a variety of heavy plant machinery, ensuring all equipment is maintained and repaired to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Routine Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on heavy plant vehicles and machinery.
- Repairs: Conducting necessary repairs to ensure hire equipment is fit for purpose.
- Rebuilds: Carrying out rebuilds of machinery components.
- Diagnostics and Fault Finding: Utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and rectify faults.
- Safety Inspections: Performing safety inspections to ensure all machinery complies with health and safety regulations.
