Job Title: Plant fitter Location: Nottinghamshire Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm (40hrs) Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 You ll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault-finding and repair of plant machinery and industrial equipment, including crushers and screens. You ll work both in the workshop and on customer sites, helping to keep equipment safe, reliable and operational. Key Responsibilities Carry out servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs on plant and machinery. Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions to minimise downtime. Work on a range of equipment including crushers, screens and construction plant. Attend customer sites and provide proactive maintenance and technical support. Complete pre-hire inspections, PDIs and equipment preparation. Identify defects, wear and potential issues before they become major problems. Communicate professionally with customers, operators and site management. Advise operators on correct equipment use and ways to reduce damage and wear.
