Location: Low Marnham

Salary: £20.08 - £20.22 per hour - 37.5 hours per week

Overtime paid at 1.25

Shift: Monday-Friday Days or Nights

Shift Pattern: Days, Nights, 4 on 4 off, Earlies and Lates - all available.

About your new company

My client is a company that transforms animal by-products into sustainable, high-quality products such as biofuels and pet food ingredients. They play a key role in the circular economy, helping to reduce waste and contribute to a greener, more sustainable future. Due to the expansion of their fleet and restructuring of their workshop shift patterns to meet future demands they now have a fantastic opportunity for a HGV Technician to join their team.

About your new HGV Technician role

You will be fully competent in conducting HGV / Trailer safety inspections and MOT preparation to achieve VOSA compliance and have a strong grounding in HGV electrical and hydraulic systems. Able to achieve timely completion of tasks and give accurate updates whilst remaining focused and calm under pressure. Keeping detailed records of repairs, inspections, and testing.

The successful HGV Technician will have:

  • Experience and enthusiasm
  • Qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in the repair and servicing of HGVs
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of inspection, repair and testing documentation
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

The successful HGV Technician will receive:

  • Overtime paid at time plus quarter - £25.10 per hour
  • 100% MOT pass rate bonuses
