About your new company:
Our client, a major powered access hire provider with a large network of depots throughout the UK, is seeking an experienced Area Sales Representative to join their growing commercial team. This well-established organisation supplies a full range of MEWPs and access solutions to construction, industrial, and facilities management customers nationwide.
About your new Area Sales Representative role:
- Manage and grow a defined sales territory
- Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers in the powered access and related hire sectors.
- Conduct customer and site visits to identify requirements and propose suitable powered access solutions.
- Prepare quotations, follow up leads, and secure hire contracts.
- Work closely with depot managers and operations teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and account records.
What you’ll need to succeed as an Area Sales Representative:
- Previous experience as an Area Sales Representative within powered access or a similar hire environment is essential.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to generate and convert new business.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to manage your own diary, territory, and sales pipeline effectively.
- A full UK driving licence is required for this Area Sales Representative role.
