About the Role
Kemp Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading equipment hire company for an experienced Mobile Small Tool Fitter. In this field-based role, you’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of small tools, 2/4 stroke engines, and light plant equipment at customer sites across West London. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys working independently and delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and maintain small tools and light plant machinery
- Diagnose and repair faults on 2/4 stroke engines and mechanical systems
- Carry out inspections and ensure all equipment is safe and ready for hire
- Maintain safety, compliance, and service standards
- Provide great customer service on-site
About You
- Previous experience as a Small Tool Fitter, Plant Fitter, or Maintenance Technician
- Mechanical knowledge of 2/4 stroke engines and small plant machinery
- Able to diagnose and repair faults independently
- Self-motivated, reliable, and organised
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
