Overview
Volvo is seeking an experienced Mobile HGV/PSV Technician to join their Service Market Team. This is a varied and rewarding role combining technical expertise, customer support, and nationwide travel. Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out Pre Delivery Inspections (PDIs) in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HGV and PSV vehicles
- Providing technical support and guidance to dealerships and service partners
- Conducting technical investigations and supporting field-based rectification activities
- Preparing and inspecting used vehicles to ensure quality standards are met
- Installing additional vehicle equipment such as CCTV systems, USB charging points, and vehicle monitors
What You’ll Need
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) essential
- Proven experience within the HGV or PSV industry essential
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
