The Role as an HGV Technician / Mechanic / Engineer:
- An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-established and respected fleet maintenance company.
- You’ll be working on specialist assets within a professional workshop environment, with full support and training provided to help you develop your skills further.
- Carrying out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on HGVs for both internal and external customers.
- Preparing vehicles for MOT, including inspection, rectification, and final presentation.
- Attending breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and completing repairs to a high standard.
- Completing all compliance documentation in line with DVSA and company standards.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and workmanship at all times.
What we’re looking for in the HGV Technician / Mechanic / Engineer:
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Engineer.
- NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent HGV qualification.
- Experience with repairs and wheel alignment.
- Municipal or RCV/refuse vehicle experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong understanding of the HGV industry and safety practices.
- A team player who can also work confidently on their own initiative.
