The Opportunity
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workshop Controller to join their busy Feltham site. You will manage job flow through the workshop, allocate work to the right technicians, and ensure all repairs are completed on time and to manufacturer standards. This is a key role within the operation, working closely with the Service Manager and Group Technical Manager. No two days are the same, you will need to be organised, proactive, and confident making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Control and plan daily workshop loading
- Allocate jobs to the most suitable technicians
- Maximise productivity and gross profit
- Ensure repairs meet manufacturer and warranty standards
- Liaise with parts, service and technical teams
- Support Health & Safety, tooling and calibrations
- Maintain high documentation and audit standards
- Deliver excellent customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller (light commercial sector essential)
- Strong commercial vehicle technical knowledge
- Good understanding of Health & Safety in automotive environments
- Excellent organisation and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and leadership ability
- Problem-solver with great attention to detail
