My client is a global supplier of Powered Access machinery and due to their continued success they are now looking for a skilled workshop engineer to join their ever-growing team. Experience in the Powered Access sector would be advantageous.
The Role
- Identify new business opportunities through market research as an Area Sales Representative
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline through networking, cold calling and events
- Promote and sell vehicle-mounted hydraulic platforms to a wide customer base
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and close sales to meet targets
- Provide post-sale support and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Work closely with marketing and technical teams to stay aligned on products and trends
- Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activity
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a B2B sales role
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven and comfortable working independently
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience within construction equipment, plant or machinery sales
- Knowledge of hydraulic or vehicle-mounted equipment
- Established industry contacts
