The Role

  • As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of modern agricultural machinery, working with some of the most respected brands in the industry.
  • Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing agricultural machinery including tractors and sprayers.
  • Ensuring all machinery meets manufacturer specifications and is safe for use.
  • Maintaining accurate service and repair records.
  • Installing and demonstrating machinery for customers when required.
  • Working closely with service and workshop managers to meet demanding timelines.
  • Travelling to customer sites within the local depot area (full UK driving licence required).

The Ideal Candidate

  • A Level 3 qualification in Land Based Engineering or an equivalent qualification (HGV, Waste Plant, Plant, Construction, or similar).
  • Previous experience working with agricultural machinery.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to work overtime during peak agricultural seasons.
  • A commitment to ongoing training, including manufacturer-specific courses.
