The Role
- As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of modern agricultural machinery, working with some of the most respected brands in the industry.
- Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing agricultural machinery including tractors and sprayers.
- Ensuring all machinery meets manufacturer specifications and is safe for use.
- Maintaining accurate service and repair records.
- Installing and demonstrating machinery for customers when required.
- Working closely with service and workshop managers to meet demanding timelines.
- Travelling to customer sites within the local depot area (full UK driving licence required).
The Ideal Candidate
- A Level 3 qualification in Land Based Engineering or an equivalent qualification (HGV, Waste Plant, Plant, Construction, or similar).
- Previous experience working with agricultural machinery.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work overtime during peak agricultural seasons.
- A commitment to ongoing training, including manufacturer-specific courses.
