Our client are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join their team in Leeds, specializing in the assembly, maintenance, and repair of construction survey equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to work with precision-engineered hydraulic systems used in the construction and surveying industries.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test, and maintain hydraulic components for construction survey equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
  • Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to enhance equipment efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Hydraulic Fitter in construction, plant, or industrial equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and schematics.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic faults efficiently.
  • Experience working with surveying or construction-related equipment (desirable).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Relevant mechanical or hydraulic engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
