Company Overview: Join a leading provider specialising in Plant machinery and equipment for construction. Our client, renowned for their exceptional service and extensive fleet are expanding their team and are looking for a proactive Hire Desk Controller to join their depot.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming hire enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Prepare quotes and raise hire contracts accurately
- Schedule deliveries and collections, coordinating with drivers and workshop staff
- Maintain accurate records of fleet availability and utilisation
- Liaise with customers regarding urgent requests, equipment breakdowns, and replacements
- Support depot administration and operational processes
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications and Experience
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in Plant, Powered Access, Tool, Lifting Equipment or Material Handling industries.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
